KISHTWAR, MARCH 30: Government Model Higher Secondary School for Girls Kishtwar has been upgraded with new Smart Science Laboratories under District Capex 2022-23. The inauguration was done by Deputy Commissioner, Dr Devansh Yadav in presence of Chief Education Officer Kishtwar, Sudarshan Sharma today.
The school authorities expressed their appreciation for the district administration’s initiative, which marks a significant milestone in the education sector of Kishtwar district.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Yadav said that with the latest launch, the school is well on its way to becoming a Model School in Kishtwar. The addition of a Reading Hub along with smart science labs and upgraded infrastructure highlights the school’s commitment to providing a well-rounded and quality education to its students. Moreover, with the upcoming launch of an indoor sports stadium, the school is taking significant steps towards fostering physical fitness and sports education among its students.
During his visit, Dr Yadav held a meeting with the school staff and executive agencies, including ExEn, AEE R&B and others to discuss various aspects related to the development and improvement of the school infrastructure and facilities.
Dr Yadav emphasised the need for providing quality education and modern facilities to the students. He expressed his happiness over the inauguration of Smart Science labs in the school, which will provide students with a better learning environment and help them excel in their studies.
The DC interacted with the CEO, Sudarshan Kumar Sharma and Incharge Principal KL Sharma to discuss the various challenges faced by the school and find ways to overcome them.
Executive Engineer R&B, Rabinder Kumar; DIO, Kuldeep Kumar and other senior officials were also present at the occasion.
