KISHTWAR, FEBRUARY 23: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav (IAS) today chaired the monthly meeting of District Level Committee of Narco Coordination Centre (NCORD) here in his office chamber and reviewed the steps taken to curb drug abuse in the district.
The meeting was attended by SSP, Khalil Ahmed Poswal; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kishori Lal Sharma; SDM Chatroo, Inderjeet Singh Parihar; SDM Paddar/DPO ICDS, Dr. Rishi Kumar Sharma; DFO Kishtwar, Sagar Singh; DFO Marwah, Vijay Kumar; District Social Welfare Officer, Zubair Ahmed; Chief Medical Officer, Dr. M Y Mir; State Taxes Officer, Maneet Sharma besides representative of Excise department.
At the outset, the ADC presented the action taken report on the decisions taken in the previous meeting.
Listing the action taken by the police department, the SSP said that police and other security agencies have adopted a zero tolerance policy against drug suppliers and traffickers and intensified their vigil.
