PULWAMA, MARCH 01: Regional Directorate of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, J&K, (GoI) in collaboration with Directorate of Skill Development J&K today organized “National Apprenticeship Awareness Workshop” at Circuit House Pulwama.
The aim of the workshop was to create awareness among youth/ Establishments about Apprenticeship schemes and to promote apprenticeship training in the district.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama, Baseer-Ul-Haq Choudhary presided over the workshop.
Speaking at the event he said that such workshops aim to create awareness amongst establishments on apprenticeship training, benefits under National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS). He hailed organizing the workshop and advised to conduct more such orientation programs to encourage skill up-gradation to meet the requirement of a qualified workforce for Industry.
