JANUARY 30: Healthy baby competition (Poshan Project Udhampur) was organised at CDPO office premises Udhampur today.
The event was inaugurated by District Programme Officer, Poshan Subhash Chander Dogra and organised under the guidance and directions of Deputy Commissioner Saloni Rai to educate the public regarding the good health of each and every child.
The 19 contesting children reached the project level competition after passing AWC level, Panchayat/Ward level and Sector level contests. A lecture on the health, pregnant & lactating mothers was delivered by Dr Sunaina.
1st Position was won by Abhijeet Sharma while Adheesh Jamwal and Sakoon Pandotra bagged the second and third position.
Gifts were distributed and light refreshment was also served to the participants. The parents present on the occasion were advised to carry this message across the society to ensure the provision of balanced diet to their children to make the nation healthy.
