APRIL 26: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, Rajesh Kumar Shavan, along with Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Naresh Singh, carried out a detailed inspection of the security arrangements at the Pakkal Dul Hydroelectric Project site.
During the visit, the DC reviewed the existing security framework and underlined the critical need to maintain a strong, proactive security system to safeguard the vital infrastructure project. Stressing the importance of constant vigilance, he directed project authorities to bolster surveillance by immediately installing additional CCTV cameras across all critical points of the project site.
Highlighting the significance of the Pakkal Dul project for the region, DC Shavan emphasized that a robust security setup is essential not only for the safety of assets and personnel but also for ensuring uninterrupted progress in construction activities. He urged the project management to work in close coordination with local law enforcement agencies to address any emerging security concerns promptly.
