APRIL 5: The Jammu & Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) marked a significant presence at Startup Mahakumbh 2.0, India’s largest startup platform, by showcasing five promising startups from Jammu & Kashmir (J&K). This participation highlighted the region’s growing startup ecosystem and the government’s commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
The five startups representing J&K at the prestigious event were CLMRAT India Pvt. Ltd., GR8 Sports Pvt. Ltd., Studio Agama, BISA Pvt. Ltd., and Al-Hamdaan Crafts Pvt. Ltd. These startups demonstrated innovative solutions across various sectors, including technology, sports, art, and crafts. Their participation on such a national platform helped bring J&K’s entrepreneurial talent to the forefront, offering the startups invaluable exposure and networking opportunities.
The participation of these startups was facilitated by JKEDI under the J&K Startup Policy 2024-27, aimed at building a robust startup ecosystem in the region.
