APRIL 16: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha today inaugurated the Pediatric Education Network—an innovative, free-to-access digital platform aimed at revolutionizing Pediatric healthcare education. The online portal, curated and developed by eminent Pediatrician and Academician Dr. Suraj Gupte, was officially launched at a ceremonial event held at the Raj Bhawan, Jammu.
Congratulating Dr. Suraj Gupte and his team, the Lieutenant Governor commended the initiative as a significant step toward strengthening child health education in the country. He emphasized the need for such collaborative and accessible efforts to empower pediatric practitioners, students, and medical institutions with the latest knowledge and best practices in the field.
“The Pediatric Education Network stands as a shining example of how technology and expertise can come together to serve society. This platform will not only promote academic excellence but also bridge geographical and institutional divides in medical learning,” said the Lieutenant Governor.

It hosts a wide array of educational resources, including expert lectures, clinical guidelines, diagnostic case studies, interactive modules, and insights from renowned pediatricians. The content is updated regularly and offered completely free of charge to ensure accessibility for all—medical professionals, students, and academic institutions alike.
The platform aims to enhance learning, encourage best practices, and foster a collaborative environment among healthcare providers by offering credible, up-to-date, and practical resources across various domains of pediatric care.
The launch event was graced by the presence of several distinguished medical professionals and prominent citizens. Among those in attendance were Dr. Sanjeev K. Digra, Dr. Ashok Gupta, Dr. Ghanshyam Saini, Dr. Sunil Dutt Sharma, Dr. Kewal Samnotra, and Dr. Gotam Goel.
