APRIL 29:
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results of the Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2025, conducted on April 13. A total of 8,516 candidates have qualified for the Service Selection Board (SSB) interviews for admission to various defence academies.
The qualified candidates are eligible for admission to the following courses commencing in January and April 2026:

Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun – 160th (DE) Course

Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala, Kerala

Air Force Academy (AFA), Hyderabad – 219th (Pre-Flying) Training Course

Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai – 123rd SSC (Men) (Non-Technical) Course

Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai – 37th SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course
Candidates are required to submit original documents supporting their age, educational qualifications, and other relevant certificates to the respective headquarters by specified deadlines. Those who have chosen Army (IMA/OTA) as their first preference must register on the official recruiting website, www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, to receive SSB interview details.
