AUG 13: Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah hoisted the tricolour at his residence in New Delhi today, joining the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga campaign in the run-up to Independence Day 2025. The initiative, launched under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has grown into a mass movement aimed at uniting the nation under the spirit of patriotism.

In a post on the X platform, the Home Minister described Har Ghar Tiranga as a powerful thread binding the country together, reflecting both unity and the collective resolve of its people. He emphasised that the campaign is not just a symbolic gesture but a tribute to the countless freedom fighters whose sacrifices, perseverance, and unwavering dedication made the dream of an independent India a reality.

Shah highlighted that today’s India, home to 140 crore citizens, is determined to build on that legacy by working towards becoming a developed and exemplary nation. He noted that every household participating in the campaign sends a strong message of solidarity and national pride, strengthening the emotional bond between citizens and the country.

The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign encourages citizens to display the national flag at their homes, offices, and public spaces during the Independence Day week, turning streets and skylines into vibrant seas of saffron, white, and green. It is part of the larger Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative, celebrating India’s journey since independence and envisioning its future progress.

By hoisting the tricolour at his residence, Amit Shah reinforced the campaign’s call for participation from all sections of society, urging every Indian to carry forward the ideals of unity, dedication, and nation-building envisioned by the country’s founding leaders.
