6 Oct, 2025: In a grand celebration of youth, sportsmanship, and national unity, the Chief Minister inaugurated the 69th National School Games 2025 at the TRC Stadium, Srinagar, marking a proud moment for Jammu and Kashmir’s growing sports culture. The event brings together over 4,000 young athletes from across the country, who will compete in various disciplines including Football, Wushu, Taekwondo, and Table Tennis.
The opening ceremony witnessed an atmosphere of enthusiasm and energy as students from different states paraded with their contingents, symbolizing the spirit of India’s diversity and sports-driven camaraderie. The event reflects the Union Territory’s readiness to host large-scale national competitions and promote sports as a means of fostering discipline, teamwork, and leadership among youth.
