DC B’la flags-off Vehicles for distribution of Educational Equipments under Samgraha Siksha, ADP

BARAMULLA, MAY 17: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar today said that the District Administration is committed to establish smart classrooms for Kindergarten and other schools which will be provided with all the essential and sophisticated equipments under Samgraha Shiksha and Aspirational District Programme (ADP).

 

The DC while presiding over a function at Government Boys High School Deewanbagh said that the move is aimed to equip Government schools with latest technology and improve teaching-learning experience especially in far flung areas of the district.

 

During the programme, the DC in presence of Chief Education Officer Baramulla, Balbir Singh Raina; District Information Officer, Jahangeer Akhoon and other concerned flagged-off vehicles for distribution of Water proof tents, Utensils, Gas Stoves LEDs and other electronic gadgets to KinderGartens and other schools of Baramulla under Aspirational District Programme and Samgraha Shiksha Scheme.

 

Briefing with regard to the distribution, Chief Education Officer said that these equipment were distributed among 18 zones of Baramulla district wherein 85 schools were provided with KG Material, 100 schools provided with Utensils and gas besides 36 schools with water proof tents and LEDs.

 

He further informed that more distributions will be carried out to facilitate the dropout school children for their re-enrollment.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the DC informed that the administration’s constant endeavour to equip, upgrade and modernise Government schools is aimed at providing outcome-based quality education and instilling community ownership of educational institutions.
