REASI, APRIL 19: Deputy Commissioner Reasi Babila Rakwal today chaired a meeting to review the implementation and progress achieved under the Rural Development sector schemes in the District.
The DC asked for regular review of works taken up by BDOs to keep a close track on the pace of progress for timely completion and use of quality material.
Reviewing the scheme wise works, the DC laid thrust on speeding up the process of allotment and early completion of already tendered works so as to achieve set targets within the set timelines.
The DC also directed BDOs to devise a mechanism to ensure that all revenue implications are cleared before the tendering process. The DC further directed all BDOs to work out the estimates, rate list and BOQ and clear the pendencies at the earliest.
A threadbare review was also held on flagship schemes including Amrit Sarovar, MGNREGA, ODF etc.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Jyoti Slathia, CPO Sunita Kanchan, ADC Anirudh Rai, ACP Pradeep Kumar, Xens, AEE’s and other concerned officers
