BHADERWAH, APRIL 07: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Bhaderwah observed “World Health Day” in collaboration with Sub District Hospital Bhaderwah at Crescent Public School Bhaderwah. Block Medical Officer Bhaderwah, Dr Ashraf was the chief guest and Dr Mohd Iqbal Rtd Principal GDC Bhaderwah, Adv Mohd Majid Malik and Dr Amir Malik were guests of honour.
Resource Person, Adv Mohd Majid Malik highlighted the importance of World Health Day and said that right to health is a fundamental right guaranteed to every citizen of India under Article-21 of the constitution of India. He informed that in 1948, countries of the world founded WHO to promote health and serve the vulnerable. The theme for the World Health Day 2023 is “Health For All” and aims to create an opportunity for the world to look back at public health successes that have helped improve the quality of life over the past 70 years.
