Grievances redressal bedrock of responsive administration: DDC Vice- Chairperson Udahmpur

UDHAMPUR, MAY 29: District Development Council Vice- Chairperson Udahmpur, Juhi Manhas Pathania today said that grievances redressal is bedrock of a responsive set-up. “We need to have a larger perspective and an effort area to ensure that people get access to essential services. Rather we need to evolve savvy technological skills and best practices to effectively reach out to the people” she said while interacting with public delegations, here.

 

Several delegations called on Juhi Manhas Pathania, Vice Chairperson District Development Council at her office in DC office complex.

 

Various issues were projected including provision of uninterrupted drinking water, electricity supply, road connectivity.

 

A deputation from Chenani led by Pinky Devi, the DDC Latti/Marothi called for redressal of paucity of teaching staff in GPS Chapper. Pathania took up the issue with the CEO Udhampur and assured prompt and speedy redressal of the issue.

 

A deputation from ST Bastis from Sattian, Laddana of Ramnagar called upon the Vice Chairperson for electricity supply to their houses and immediate start of works of PMGSY roads in the area.

 

Another deputation from Pattangarh area put up a plea for starting matador service from Chenani to Pattangarh area. Mrs Pathania assured the delegation of a favourable action. Various other delegations led by DDCs and PRI members had detailed discussions with the Vice Chairperson regarding key developmental issues pertaining to their areas regarding shortage of drinking water, irregular water supply, electricity supply, paucity of Staff and lack of proper infrastructure in various schools and health institutions of the District. She took up these issues with the concerned departments and instructed them to provide viable solutions to the people.
