MARCH 28: Minister for Jal Shakti, Forests, and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasions of Shab-e-Qadr and Jumat-ul-Vida. Recognizing the religious and spiritual significance of these occasions, Javed Rana prayed for the well-being of the people of J&K and hoped that these occasions would bring blessings, peace, and prosperity to everyone.
In his message, Javed Rana emphasized the enormous importance these occasions hold for the Muslim community, stating that Shab-e-Qadr is a night of spiritual renewal, a time when Muslims around the world seek Allah’s blessings, guidance, and forgiveness. He reminded the people that this night is one of the most significant in the Islamic calendar, often associated with increased worship, reflection, and supplication.
“Shab-e-Qadr is a night of immense significance,” said Rana. “It is a special moment to renew our faith, seek Allah’s mercy, and pray for His kindness and guidance in all aspects of life.” He stressed that during this night, Muslims should strive to deepen their spirituality and connect with their faith, performing good deeds and prayers that bring them closer to Allah.
Speaking further about the importance of Jumat-ul-Vida, Javed Rana mentioned that it is a day of deep reflection and spiritual contemplation. It marks the last Friday of Ramadan, a month of fasting, devotion, and self-discipline. He encouraged the people to reflect on their actions during the holy month and make a conscious effort to live lives filled with righteousness, compassion, and unity.
He also highlighted that these occasions serve as a reminder for Muslims to live in harmony with others, and to foster feelings of brotherhood and communal unity. “Shab-e-Qadr and Jumat-ul-Vida hold a special place in our hearts. They remind us to perform as many good deeds as possible and to strengthen the ties that bind us together as a community,” he said.
Javed Rana concluded his message by praying that these holy occasions would not only bring spiritual fulfillment but also contribute to strengthening the bonds of communal harmony and brotherhood in Jammu and Kashmir.
