NOV 15:In a major step towards strengthening administrative efficiency and promoting transparent governance, Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo today inaugurated the Single Window System for Recruitment Rules (RRs) in Jammu and Kashmir. The newly launched digital platform is designed to transform how Recruitment Rules are proposed, processed, approved, and monitored across all government departments, marking a significant shift toward smarter and more accountable governance.
With this system coming into effect, the government aims to eliminate long-standing delays, procedural bottlenecks, and inconsistencies that often hinder the timely formulation and revision of Recruitment Rules. The platform introduces a uniform, structured, and digitally traceable workflow, enabling departments to submit proposals online and track their real-time progress at every stage.
By integrating digital monitoring and automated alerts, the Single Window System ensures that timelines are strictly adhered to, decisions are made on time, and overall approval processes become transparent. This not only enhances administrative responsiveness but also contributes to the larger goal of strengthening institutional governance across the Union Territory.
Chief Secretary Dulloo emphasized that the initiative aligns with the administration’s commitment to building an efficient, citizen-centric government powered by digital transformation.
