Srinagar, September 18, 2026: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has announced the date sheets for the Annual Regular (October-November) 2026 examinations for Classes 10, 11 and 12.
The examinations will be conducted for students in the Kashmir Division, winter zone areas of Jammu Division and the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Class 10 Exams from October 19
According to the notified schedule, the Class 10 examinations will begin on October 19, 2026, with the Mathematics paper.
The examination process will conclude on November 18 with the Computer Science paper.
Class 11 and 12 Examination Schedule
For Class 12, the Annual Regular examinations will commence on October 21, 2026.
The Class 11 examinations are scheduled to begin on October 29, 2026.
All three examinations—Classes 10, 11 and 12—will be conducted according to the notified timetable, with papers scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM and conclude at 2:00 PM.
Students have been advised to carefully check their individual date sheets and make preparations accordingly.
Admit Cards Mandatory at Examination Centres
JKBOSE has stated that the examination centre allotted to each student will be mentioned on their Admit Card.
Students must carry their Admit Cards to the examination centre on every examination day as they will be required for identification.
Candidates are advised to verify the details printed on their Admit Cards well in advance and report any discrepancies to the concerned authorities.
Practical Examination Schedule to Be Issued Separately
The Board has clarified that the schedules for practical examinations will be notified separately.
The practical examination dates will be issued by the respective Joint Secretaries of Examination for Jammu Division and Kashmir Division.
Students appearing in practical subjects are therefore advised to follow subsequent notifications from JKBOSE and their respective institutions.
