July 16: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced the deferment of the Naib Tehsildar recruitment process in the Revenue Department following an interim order issued by the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT), Jammu Bench.
The application process, which commenced on June 16, 2025, and was scheduled to close on July 15, 2025, has been put on hold until further directions from the tribunal. JKSSB officials confirmed that fresh dates and further instructions will be issued after a comprehensive review, in compliance with the CAT’s interim order.
The tribunal’s intervention comes amid concerns raised by aspirants and stakeholders regarding certain aspects of the recruitment process.
