APRIL 24: In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity and mourning, the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh convened a solemn condolence meeting at its Jammu wing to honour the memory of those who tragically lost their lives in the recent terror attack targeting tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir.

The meeting was presided over by Hon’ble Mr. Justice Arun Palli, Chief Justice of the High Court, and was attended by all sitting judges, officers of the Registry, and members of the court staff. The atmosphere was marked by deep sorrow as the judiciary collectively expressed its grief over the horrifying incident, which claimed the lives of innocent civilians.

In his statement during the meeting, Chief Justice Arun Palli conveyed profound anguish and extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. He described the attack as a “heinous and senseless act of violence” and emphasized the need to stand united in the face of such tragedy. “We are deeply saddened by the loss of innocent lives in this heinous act. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families during this difficult time,” the Chief Justice said.
