AUG 11: Patriotism and unity took centre stage in Block Khellani as the community came together for a vibrant Tiranga Rally under the banner of the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan. The event, held as part of the ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, transformed the area into a sea of saffron, white, and green, symbolising India’s rich heritage and collective spirit.
The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, residents, Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI) members, and government officials, all marching shoulder to shoulder while proudly holding the Tricolour aloft. With the national flag fluttering in the breeze, the atmosphere was charged with energy and patriotic fervour.
Organisers highlighted that the initiative was not just about carrying the national flag, but about fostering a deeper emotional connection with it. The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign encourages every household to hoist the Tricolour, reminding citizens of the sacrifices made for India’s freedom and the values enshrined in the Constitution.
During the rally, patriotic songs echoed through the streets, and participants shouted slogans of unity, peace, and progress. Students displayed handmade banners and placards with messages celebrating national pride and honour. The event also served as an opportunity to inspire younger generations to uphold the ideals of freedom, democracy, and equality.
PRI members and local leaders addressed the gathering, stressing the importance of civic responsibility and the role of citizens in nation-building. They praised the overwhelming turnout and the enthusiasm of the youth, which they said reflects the true essence of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
