December 14: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, today handed over appointment letters to the Next of Kin (NoKs) of terror victims from the Kashmir Division, marking a significant milestone in the administration’s efforts to deliver justice, dignity and rehabilitation to families affected by terrorism.
The initiative aims to provide sustainable livelihood support to families who have suffered irreparable loss due to terror violence. Officials said the move represents a compassionate and concrete step to ensure that the long-pending grievances of victim families are addressed in a time-bound and transparent manner.
Ending a Long Wait for Justice
Speaking on the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor stated that for many families, the day marked the end of a prolonged wait for justice and recognition.
