MARCH 31: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha today attended the grand celebration of the 453rd Prakash Utsav of Goswami Shri Guru Nabha Dass Ji Maharaj at Abhinav Theatre. The event was marked by reverence and a deep reflection on the timeless teachings of the revered spiritual leader.
The Lieutenant Governor paid obeisance to Guru Nabha Dass Ji Maharaj and extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all the people gathered for the auspicious occasion. In his address, he emphasized the eternal relevance of Guru Nabha Dass Ji’s spiritual wisdom and his monumental contribution to India’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage.
Shri Sinha acknowledged that Goswami Shri Guru Nabha Dass Ji Maharaj’s teachings continue to guide humanity toward an honest, truthful, and virtuous life. “Through his works, revered sage Nabha Dass Ji not only inspired society towards the path of devotion but also breathed new life into Indian civilization, reinvigorating self-confidence in the society,” said the Lieutenant Governor.
Guru Nabha Dass Ji, during his time, focused on awakening society’s collective consciousness and uniting people under the principles of mutual respect and brotherhood. His message emphasized that compassion within every human being should inspire them to serve others, fostering a sense of unity across all divides.
The Lieutenant Governor highlighted the progressive teachings of Guru Nabha Dass Ji, which sought to create an ideal community devoid of divisions and discrimination, strengthening social equity. He urged people to rise above narrow differences and promote the idea of unity among all mankind.
Shri Sinha also reflected on the significance of Guru Nabha Dass Ji’s work during the Bhakti-Kaal period. The Guru’s mission was not only to guide society toward devotion and spiritual upliftment but also to eliminate class distinctions, thus promoting mutual respect and brotherhood. The Lieutenant Governor cited Guru Nabha Dass Ji’s belief that devotion and meditation lead to continuous transformation, with life itself serving as a transformative process.
On the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor felicitated several achievers from diverse fields, recognizing their contributions to society. Notable attendees included Shri Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament; Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal and Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Members of Legislative Assembly; and Shri Sansar Chand, President of Guru Nabha Dass Samaj Kalyan Parishad, along with senior officials and a large gathering of people.
