Minister Javed Rana Meets Multiple Deputations in Mendhar, Assures Action on CAMPA Workers and Kisan Khidmat Ghar Support

JUNE 02: In a proactive public outreach initiative, Minister Javed Rana held an extensive interaction with multiple public delegations at his camp office in Mendhar. The minister listened patiently to the concerns raised by various deputations, assuring them of the government’s commitment to addressing pressing local issues in a time-bound manner.

Key demands presented during the interaction included the regularization of daily wage workers under the CAMPA (Compensatory Afforestation Management and Planning Authority) scheme, a long-standing issue affecting a significant number of temporary employees working in the forest and environment sectors. Delegation members emphasized the uncertainty faced by these workers due to the lack of job security and urged the government to expedite the process of regularization.

Another important issue brought to the minister’s attention was the need for enhanced financial support and operational strengthening of the Kisan Khidmat Ghar—a crucial facility for farmers that provides agricultural guidance, subsidies, and services. Locals highlighted the growing importance of such centers in delivering timely assistance to farmers and requested increased funding to improve infrastructure and service delivery.

Minister Javed Rana appreciated the constructive dialogue and acknowledged the legitimacy of the issues raised. “The concerns of daily wage workers and our farmers are of utmost priority. I have taken note of the requests, and appropriate action will follow. We aim to ensure justice, dignity, and support for every worker and farmer,” he said during the meeting.

He further added that the administration is committed to streamlining employment-related policies and enhancing rural support systems. “We are working towards long-term solutions, not temporary fixes. Regularization and institutional strengthening are vital for sustainable progress,” the minister affirmed.

The interaction reflected a broader effort by the government to strengthen grassroots governance and remain responsive to citizens’ concerns. Minister Rana also directed local officials present at the camp to follow up on the issues raised and ensure that necessary reports and proposals are submitted promptly.

Locals appreciated the minister’s open-door approach and hoped for timely redressal of their grievances. The meeting concluded with assurances that the government remains committed to inclusive development and that citizens’ voices will guide policy direction and implementation.
