SSP Jammu Inaugurates CCTNS Lab and Training Centre at DPO Jammu

Jammu, April 18: Senior Superintendent of Police, Jammu, Joginder Singh inaugurated the newly established Crime and Criminal Tracking Network System (CCTNS) Lab cum Training Centre at District Police Office (DPO) Jammu.

The inauguration was attended by Deputy SP Headquarters Farha Nishat, Senior Prosecuting Officer Altaf Hussain, Inspector M.K. Chowdhary, and members of the Range Technical Team and IRAD Jammu.

The SSP highlighted that the lab is equipped with advanced tools to support the effective implementation of the CCTNS project across Jammu District. It will serve both as a control hub and a training facility for Investigating Officers (IOs) and CCTNS operators, enabling smoother case tracking, digital documentation, and use of platforms like e-Sakshya, e-FIRs, and e-Summons.

On its first day, the centre trained 23 IOs and operators on various digital services and portals aligned with the New Criminal Laws, marking a significant step toward modernizing police operations in the district.
