JUNE 23: Jal Shakti Minister Javed Rana has extended heartfelt appreciation to the engineers and field teams of the Jal Shakti Department for their exceptional efforts in restoring a major breach in the Awantipora Canal within an impressive span of just four days.
The breach, which had posed a significant threat to irrigation in the region, was swiftly addressed through round-the-clock intervention and technical expertise. The successful repair ensured the timely resumption of irrigation supply to over 2000 hectares of paddy fields, safeguarding both crops and farmer livelihoods in the area.
