Jammu, April 27:
Trainees of the Management Development Programme (MDP), being conducted under the RAMP initiative at JKEDI Jammu, participated in an industrial visit to the Bari Brahmana Industrial Estate today. Organized on Day 5 of the programme, the visit aimed to offer participants firsthand exposure to industrial operations and deepen their understanding of manufacturing processes.
The visit was coordinated in collaboration with the Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) under the leadership of its Chairman, Lalit Mahajan. The interaction provided a valuable platform for trainees to bridge theoretical learning with real-world industrial practices.
Rajesh Kotwal, District Nodal Officer, JKEDI Jammu, along with faculty members Ms. Monika Salaria and Ms. Rupali Choudhary, accompanied the trainees. During the visit, an engaging session was held with Lalit Mahajan, who shared insightful perspectives on the industrial ecosystem, emerging business opportunities, and the challenges faced by local entrepreneurs.
Through guided tours of several manufacturing units, participants gained a deeper appreciation of business operations, production processes, and the dynamics of industrial management.
The visit proved to be an enriching experience, enhancing the trainees’ practical knowledge and preparing them for future entrepreneurial and management roles. The initiative aligns with JKEDI’s ongoing efforts to foster practical skill development and promote industrial growth in the region.
