Phase 02 begins across 94 Panchayats of border district Rajouri

RAJOURI, OCTOBER 30: The second phase of the B2V4 began today with verve in border district Rajouri witnessing multifarious activities across 94 panchayats of the district.
The program aims to look more closely at the task of empowering,  energising and institutionalising the functioning of the PRIs by taking the administration to the doorsteps of the rural masses.
The deputed officers on the first day of the B2V4 Phase second reached the panchayats allotted to them.
Various activities, including inspection of Govt establishments, AWCs, schools, banks, sports activities, discussion on Nasha Mukt Bharat, conduct of panchayat level convergence meeting, review of implementation of centrally sponsored schemes etc were carried out during the day.
The deputed officers also held interactions with the sarpanches, panches and general public, who brought forth a wide range of genuine and specific grievances and developmental requirements of their areas.
The visiting officers documented all the grievances projected during the day and assured them of the early redressal of their genuine issues and demands.
The visiting officers also highlighted the objective of the program saying that it aims to provide an important feedback for the Government to tailor its interventions for the public good and reach to the doorstep of the people to ensure prompt and hassle free public service delivery besides involving them in decision making and mission of equitable development.
The public has applauded this initiative of the Government saying that such programmes enable them to discuss the core issues of their areas with the administration which are redressed in an efficient manner and also appealed to the LG administration to take more such steps to strengthen the democracy at grass root level
