SEP 01: Union Minister for Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, today launched the AI-powered mobile application for India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2025, themed “Innovate to Transform.” The app has been designed to redefine user engagement and make India’s largest digital technology event more accessible, interactive, and intelligent.
Speaking at the launch, Minister Scindia said that IMC is “not just an event, but a platform of possibilities.” He emphasized that the new app will convert these possibilities into connections, collaborations, and outcomes, ensuring that every participant—from students to CEOs—can experience the future of digital innovation at their fingertips.
The app comes with next-generation features tailored to enrich participant journeys. Attendees will be able to live-stream sessions, access instant information via the Co-Pilot chatbot, and receive personalized recommendations through IMC Suggests, an AI-driven concierge tool. Integrated scheduling, networking chats, and real-time meeting setups will further support delegates, startups, and industry leaders.
For startups, the app offers exclusive opportunities to connect with investors and mentors, amplifying collaboration. A unique Snippet Tool will generate AI-curated short video highlights from popular sessions for instant sharing on social media. The in-app photo booth and AI-powered gallery recognition add an interactive edge, while polls, contests, and live updates keep users engaged throughout the event.
Highlighting youth participation, the app has been designed to be student-friendly, enabling seamless exploration of technologies such as 5G/6G, AI, IoT, quantum computing, cybersecurity, and clean tech. IMC 2025 aims to inspire young innovators while fostering meaningful engagement with global industry leaders.
The 9th edition of IMC 2025 will be held from October 8–11, 2025, at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, Dwarka, New Delhi, co-hosted by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI). Registrations are now open for delegates, startups, academia, media, and students through the official IMC website.
The AI-powered IMC app is available for download on both iOS and Android platforms.
