OCT 05: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released the date sheet for the Class 10th Annual/Regular examinations 2025 (October-November session). The exams are set to begin on November 3 and will be conducted between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

According to the notification, nearly 95,000 students from the Kashmir Division, winter zone areas of Jammu Division, and Ladakh UT will appear in the exams. The Government has restored the examination schedule to the traditional October-November session.

As per the timetable, the examination will start with Mathematics on November 3, followed by Social Science on November 7, Science on November 11, and English on November 14. Urdu/Hindi papers are scheduled for November 17, Computer Science on November 19, and vocational subjects on November 21. Papers for subjects with fewer candidates, such as Home Science, Music, and Painting/Art & Drawing, will take place between November 23 and 27.

In light of disruptions to the academic calendar caused by heat waves, heavy rains, and floods, JKBOSE has announced a 15% relaxation in the syllabus, meaning students will attempt 85% of the syllabus, which will be considered equivalent to 100%.

The Board has urged students to prepare diligently and assured that the examinations will be conducted with complete transparency. It has also called upon the invigilating staff to perform their duties with professionalism and integrity while seeking full cooperation from the School Education Department to ensure smooth and fair conduct of the examinations.
