March 10, 2026: In a proud moment for the sporting fraternity of Jammu & Kashmir, the Chief Minister hosted a grand dinner in honour of the victorious J&K cricket team following their historic triumph in the Ranji Trophy championship.
The celebratory event witnessed a warm welcome extended to the players by the Chief Minister, who was accompanied by his Cabinet colleagues and senior administrative officers. The evening marked a significant gesture of appreciation for the team’s dedication, discipline and exceptional performance that brought national recognition to the Union Territory.
During the felicitation ceremony, the Chief Minister presented the players with award money amounting to ₹2 crore as a token of appreciation for their remarkable sporting achievement.
