JAMMU, March 24: The Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art Culture and Languages (JKAACL), in collaboration with the North Zone Cultural Centre, is set to organise a five-day national-level music-cum-cultural programme across the Jammu Division beginning March 24, 2026.

The initiative aims to celebrate and promote the rich cultural heritage, music, and artistic traditions of the region while encouraging cultural exchange at the national level.

Cultural Events Across Multiple Districts

As part of the programme, a series of cultural performances will be held at different locations across the division. The schedule includes events at RS Pura on March 24, Udhampur on March 25, Doda on March 26, Kishtwar on March 27, and Paddar on March 28.

The opening event will take place at Dindey Kalan in R.S. Pura, marking the beginning of a cultural journey across the region.

Promoting Art, Culture and Heritage

The programme will feature performances showcasing traditional music, dance, and cultural expressions, bringing together artists from different parts of the country. It is expected to provide a platform for both local and national artists to connect with audiences and highlight diverse cultural traditions.

The initiative reflects JKAACL’s continued efforts to preserve and promote the artistic and linguistic heritage of the Union Territory.

By organising such events across multiple districts, the academy aims to strengthen cultural engagement at the grassroots level and encourage greater participation from local communities.
