Srinagar, September 25, 2026: Traffic movement along Boulevard Road in Srinagar will remain temporarily suspended from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM on Sunday in view of the J&K Police Cycle Race-2026, the Traffic Police has informed commuters.
The traffic restriction has been announced to facilitate the smooth and safe conduct of the cycling event and ensure the safety of participants as well as the general public.
According to the advisory, commuters planning to travel along Boulevard Road during the specified hours are advised to make alternative arrangements and avoid the affected stretch wherever possible.

The temporary closure will remain in force for three hours, from 6 AM to 9 AM. Traffic Police has urged motorists to cooperate with personnel deployed along the route and follow directions issued at the event site.
The cycling race is being organised as part of the J&K Police Cycle Race-2026, bringing together cycling enthusiasts and participants for the sporting event in Srinagar.
Commuters are advised to plan their journeys in advance to avoid delays, particularly during the morning hours when the restrictions will be operational.
