DC reviews arrangements for rollout of KSA under HADP at Ganderbal

GANDERBAL, APRIL 17: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today chaired a meeting of officers to discuss the rollout of Kisan Sampark Abhiyan (KSA) under Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) at Panchayat level here at V.C Room of Mini Secretariat, Ganderbal.

 

At the outset, detailed presentation was given by the District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Ganderbal/ District Nodal Officer, Farmers Orientation under HADP regarding the projects approved, mode of implementation, identified venues and other arrangements put in place for the successful conduct of farmer’s orientation programme under the HADP in the district.

 

The meeting was informed that 29 projects under agriculture and allied sectors have been approved under HADP besides 47 venues have been identified for training to the farmers which shall commence on 24 April, 2023.

 

The DC stressed upon the officers to ensure that the farmers along with PRIs actively participate in the camps. He stressed upon the Agriculture and allied departments to give the programme wide publicity in advance so that mass participation of the farming community can be assured.

 

He directed the concerned officers that resource persons who will provide the training to the farmers should have additional knowledge about schemes so that they can encourage the farmers regarding the benefits and profits of modern technologies and schemes.
