13 May: The Central Board of Secondary Education has declared the Class 12 board examination results, recording an overall pass percentage of 85.20 percent this year.

According to official data released by CBSE, girls once again outperformed boys in the examinations, continuing the trend witnessed over recent years.

Lakhs of students from across the country appeared in the Class 12 board exams conducted by the board. Officials stated that the results reflect steady academic performance despite the pressure and competitive nature of senior secondary examinations.

The board announced that girls secured a higher overall pass percentage compared to boys, highlighting their strong academic performance across streams.

Students can access their results through the official CBSE websites and digital platforms using their roll number, school number, and admit card details.

Education experts noted that the Class 12 results play an important role in shaping higher education opportunities, professional courses, and career decisions for students across India.

Officials also appreciated the efforts of teachers, schools, parents, and students for maintaining academic continuity and performance throughout the academic session.

Several schools reported strong performances in science, commerce, and humanities streams, while students expressed relief and excitement after the announcement of results.

The board advised students to avoid stress regarding marks and focus on future educational opportunities based on their interests and abilities. Counselling support and guidance services are also being made available for students seeking academic or emotional assistance.

Education analysts observed that girls have consistently shown strong performance in board examinations over the years, reflecting increasing participation and achievement in education.

The CBSE board examinations are among the largest school-level exams in the country and are considered significant for university admissions and competitive career pathways.

Students dissatisfied with their marks will also have the option to apply for verification, re-evaluation, or supplementary examinations as per board guidelines.

With the declaration of results, schools and students are now expected to begin preparations for college admissions and future academic planning.
