SEP 25:The event was led by Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Minority Affairs, Shri Kiren Rijiju. He actively participated in the cleanliness activities and encouraged everyone to integrate cleanliness into their daily lives. During the event, the Minister administered the Swachhata Pledge to ministry officials, school staff, and students, reinforcing the collective resolve to keep surroundings clean.

Notable participants included Shri Rajkumar Jain, Chairman, Ms. Shalini Misra, Principal of Jain Happy School, and Shri Vikas Jain, General Secretary of Jain Sabha. The school management and students played a key role in the campaign, working alongside ministry officials.

In a symbolic move to combine cleanliness with environmental responsibility, Minister Shri Kiren Rijiju, Secretary Shri Nikunja Bihari Dhal, and Additional Secretary Dr. Satya Prakash planted saplings on the school campus under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan.” This initiative emphasized the dual focus on hygiene and sustainability.

Secretary Shri Nikunja Bihari Dhal addressed the gathering, underscoring the importance of shared responsibility in maintaining cleanliness in public spaces such as schools and offices. He reaffirmed the Ministry’s dedication to the objectives of the Swachh Bharat Mission.

The event concluded on a high note, with participants pledging continued efforts to create a cleaner and healthier environment through community action and daily commitment to cleanliness.
