He directed the concerned officers to ensure speedy completion of works with strict adherence to quality standards, stressing that public welfare and timely service delivery must remain the top priorities.

Focus on Road Connectivity and Infrastructure Upgradation

The Deputy Chief Minister assessed progress on major road projects under PWD (R&B) and Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY), noting that improved connectivity is crucial for economic growth, mobility, and rural development. He instructed project engineers to clear bottlenecks, accelerate pace of work, and maintain high-quality standards to ensure durability and safety.

Choudhary highlighted that enhanced road networks will significantly benefit border and far-flung areas of Nowshera by improving access to health, education, markets, and essential services.

Inspection of SDH Nowshera and Health Infrastructure

As part of the tour, the Deputy Chief Minister visited Sub District Hospital (SDH) Nowshera to inspect the ongoing infrastructure upgrades. He reviewed the status of construction, available facilities, and future requirements. During the visit, he also interacted with patients, attendants, and hospital staff to understand on-ground challenges and service delivery gaps.

Choudhary directed officials to ensure that health projects are completed at the earliest, with priority given to improving emergency care, patient amenities, diagnostic services, and the overall functioning of the hospital.

Education and Rural Development Projects Reviewed

During the review, the Deputy Chief Minister inspected ongoing works in the Education Department, including building repairs, classroom enhancements, and infrastructure expansion in government schools. He stressed the need to provide a conducive learning environment and ensure early completion of academic infrastructure projects.

He also evaluated multiple RDD initiatives, including rural asset creation, community facilities, and basic amenities under different schemes. Choudhary emphasized that rural development must be aligned with local needs and should focus on long-term sustainability.

Commitment to Transparent and Outcome-Based Governance

Choudhary reiterated the administration’s commitment to transparent, accountable, and outcome-based governance, urging officers to improve monitoring, hold regular field inspections, and maintain updated progress reports.

He urged departments to work in close coordination to avoid delays and ensure seamless execution of projects. He also highlighted the need for citizen feedback, stating that public participation strengthens developmental planning and enhances service delivery.

A Push for Holistic Development in Nowshera

Concluding the review, the Deputy Chief Minister said that Nowshera holds significant potential for growth and requires focused intervention across sectors to improve living standards and boost economic activity. He assured the public that the government is committed to strengthening infrastructure, expanding essential services, and delivering development at the grassroots level.
