17 April: The Chhattisgarh government has registered a First Information Report (FIR) against 10 individuals, including Anil Agarwal, Chairman of Vedanta Limited, in connection with a recent industrial accident at a plant in the state.
According to officials, the FIR was lodged following preliminary findings that pointed to alleged lapses in safety protocols and operational procedures at the facility. The incident reportedly resulted in casualties and raised serious concerns over industrial safety standards.
