Jammu Glows with Spiritual Fervor as Tawi Aarti Lights Up Riverbanks

JUNE 12: The sacred banks of river Tawi came alive with spiritual devotion as Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sh. Ramesh Kumar (IAS), took part in the revered Tawi Aarti ceremony. The spiritually uplifting event was organized by the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and Jammu Smart City Ltd, in collaboration with the Tourism Department and Shree Raghunath Ji Corridor Vikas Council, Jammu.

Held on the left bank of the Tawi river, the event drew a significant gathering of devotees, officials, and citizens who came together to witness the devotional spectacle. The Divisional Commissioner’s presence added significance to the ceremony, symbolizing the government’s support for preserving and promoting the spiritual and cultural ethos of Jammu.

The Tawi Aarti has emerged as a major spiritual attraction in the city, offering a mesmerizing visual experience with traditional chants, lamps, and the serene backdrop of the river.
