MARCH 28: Jammu Smart City Limited (JSCL) has officially signed a contract with M/s Creative Designers to manage static advertisement panels installed across Jammu city for a period of five years. The agreement, which was signed on 26th March 2025, aims to streamline the advertisement process while significantly enhancing revenue collection for both JSCL and the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC).
This agreement follows a global tendering process that ensures fairness, transparency, and efficiency in awarding the contract. The rigorous selection process was designed to identify a concessionaire that could provide professional management of these advertising assets, with an emphasis on optimizing their potential and contributing to the city’s growth. M/s Creative Designers emerged as the selected party due to their proven expertise in handling such initiatives.
Under the terms of the agreement, M/s Creative Designers will assume responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and revenue generation of the static advertisement panels. This partnership aims to bring a structured approach to outdoor advertising, ensuring that the management of these spaces aligns with the city’s broader goals of urban beautification and smart development. The initiative is expected to enhance Jammu’s aesthetics while maximizing the potential for revenue generation from these advertising platforms.
Dr. Devansh Yadav, who holds the dual charge of Chief Executive Officer of Jammu Smart City Limited and Commissioner of Jammu Municipal Corporation, emphasized the significance of the partnership. In his statement, he noted: “This partnership will not only improve the management of advertisement spaces in Jammu but also contribute to the overall beautification and smart urban planning initiatives of the city.” This highlights the dual focus on both efficient revenue generation and the enhancement of the city’s visual appeal.
The initiative aligns closely with JSCL’s vision of leveraging public assets to create sustainable revenue streams while maintaining the city’s charm and urban aesthetics. By professionally managing these static advertisement panels, the city aims to optimize the use of public space and increase municipal earnings, which can be reinvested into further development projects. Additionally, the agreement supports the broader goals of the Smart City Mission, which aims to transform Jammu into a modern, sustainable urban center.
Through this collaboration, JSCL seeks to ensure that outdoor advertising in the city is managed with greater professionalism and effectiveness, ultimately benefiting both the local economy and the urban environment.
