Krishi Vigyan Kendra Reasi celebrated World Earth Day with a series of awareness activities aimed at promoting environmental conservation and sustainable living practices.

The programme featured a painting competition for students, encouraging them to express their ideas and concerns about protecting the environment. The event also included a plantation drive carried out within and around the campus, reinforcing the importance of increasing green cover.

Head of the institution, Banarasi Lal, highlighted the need for collective responsibility in preserving natural resources. He urged students to adopt eco-friendly habits in their daily lives and become active contributors to environmental protection.

Participants were sensitised about issues such as climate change, pollution, and sustainable agriculture practices. Officials stressed that small steps taken at the individual level can collectively make a significant impact on the environment.

Students actively participated in the activities, showcasing enthusiasm and commitment towards environmental causes. The initiative aimed to instill a sense of responsibility among young minds and encourage them to act as ambassadors of sustainability.
