Doda, August 20, 2026: The Doda District Administration has issued an advisory for devotees planning to undertake the Shri Manimahesh Yatra 2026, scheduled to be held from September 4 to 19 to the sacred Manimahesh Lake in Himachal Pradesh.

As part of the arrangements for the pilgrimage, online registration will be mandatory for all pilgrims. The administration has also set a daily limit of 5,000 devotees, making advance registration important for those planning to participate in the yatra.

Deputy Commissioner Doda Krishna Lal has urged pilgrims from Doda and the wider Chenab region to complete the registration process well in advance and carefully follow the guidelines issued by the authorities.

The advisory also highlights the need for pilgrims to remain particularly cautious about monsoon-related weather conditions during the journey. Sudden changes in weather, heavy rainfall and difficult terrain can create challenges for pilgrims, making preparedness and adherence to safety instructions essential.

The administration has appealed to devotees to cooperate with officials and follow all instructions issued during the pilgrimage to ensure a safe and orderly yatra.

With thousands of devotees expected to participate, advance planning and compliance with the registration and safety requirements will be important for the smooth conduct of the Manimahesh Yatra 2026.
