Jan 25: Samba district witnessed an overwhelming display of patriotism as thousands of citizens united for a Mega Tiranga Rally organised under Vande Mataram – Phase II, commemorating 150 years of the iconic national song ‘Vande Mataram’. The rally transformed the town into a sea of tricolours, reflecting collective pride, unity and love for the nation.
The grand rally commenced from Rani Suchet Singh Stadium and culminated at the historic Samba Fort, with participants from all walks of life marching together while chanting patriotic slogans and singing ‘Vande Mataram’. The event symbolised a shared national spirit and paid homage to the song that played a defining role in India’s freedom struggle.
Citizens, youth, students and representatives of various organisations participated enthusiastically, carrying the national flag and celebrating the legacy of ‘Vande Mataram’, which has inspired generations with its message of sacrifice, unity and devotion to the motherland.
