The Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, is set to organise PM Vishwakarma Haat 2026, a flagship exhibition dedicated exclusively to artisans and craftspeople under the PM Vishwakarma Scheme. The event will be held from January 18 to January 31, 2026, at Dilli Haat, INA, New Delhi, and will be open to the public daily from 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by the Union Minister for MSME, Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi, in the august presence of Minister of State for MSME, Sushri Shobha Karandlaje. The event is envisioned as a vibrant platform celebrating India’s age-old traditions of craftsmanship while empowering artisans through enhanced market access and visibility.
PM Vishwakarma Haat 2026 aims to highlight the country’s rich and diverse artisanal heritage by bringing together more than 117 artisans from all States and Union Territories, making it a truly pan-India representation of traditional skills and crafts. The exhibition will provide artisans an opportunity to directly connect with national and international buyers, stakeholders, and the general public, thereby strengthening their economic prospects.
A key objective of the Haat is to create sustainable livelihood opportunities for beneficiaries of the PM Vishwakarma Scheme. By offering a dedicated marketplace and exposure to wider audiences, the initiative seeks to improve income generation while preserving India’s traditional crafts and artisanal knowledge systems.
The exhibition will feature a wide array of handcrafted products, live craft demonstrations, and immersive cultural experiences, allowing visitors to witness the skill, creativity, and dedication behind traditional Indian crafts. Representatives from foreign missions have also been invited, underscoring the global appeal of India’s artisanal heritage and opening doors for international collaborations.
Aligned with the theme “Vishwakarma Ka Abhiyaan, Viksit Bharat Ka Nirman”, PM Vishwakarma Haat 2026 reflects the Government of India’s broader vision of inclusive growth and cultural preservation. The initiative reinforces the Centre’s commitment to empowering artisans, reviving traditional skills, and strengthening the MSME ecosystem as a cornerstone of India’s economic and cultural development.
By blending tradition with opportunity, PM Vishwakarma Haat 2026 is expected to emerge as a landmark event, celebrating craftsmanship while contributing meaningfully to the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
