During his visit, he inspected special camps set up at Tikri-A, Mand East, and Garnai, where officials are facilitating voter registration, corrections, and updates in the electoral rolls.
The visit aimed to assess the ground-level implementation of the revision process and to ensure that all eligible voters are included in the Panchayat electoral database. Following the field inspection, the State Election Commissioner chaired a review meeting at Dak Bungalow Udhampur, attended by district officials and election staff. The meeting focused on evaluating the pace of work, identifying bottlenecks, and strengthening coordination among departments involved in the exercise.
Officials briefed the Commissioner on the steps taken to raise public awareness about the revision process, including outreach campaigns and local-level engagement. Emphasis was laid on ensuring maximum participation, particularly from rural and remote areas, where awareness gaps can sometimes affect voter enrollment.

He directed officials to ensure that no eligible voter is left out and that all corrections are processed efficiently. The use of digital tools and proper verification mechanisms was also highlighted as essential for maintaining the integrity of the electoral system.
