OCT 16: As part of the Implementation Phase of Special Campaign 5.0, the Minister of Women and Child Development (WCD) visited the Ministry’s offices at Jeevan Vihar and Jeevan Tara buildings to review on-ground efforts towards cleanliness, community care, and institutional care enhancement.

The Minister commended the proactive participation of officials and emphasized maintaining high standards of hygiene, record management, and efficient office functioning. She reiterated the Ministry’s commitment to Swachhata and Good Governance, urging officers to accelerate the disposal of pending matters, including MP and State Government references, inter-ministerial communications, Parliamentary questions, PMO references, public grievances, and closure or weeding of files.

The Ministry and its autonomous bodies have drawn up detailed action plans for Special Campaign 5.0, being implemented from 2nd to 31st October 2025, continuing the momentum built over the previous four editions of the campaign. The initiative aims to foster a cleaner, more efficient, and citizen-responsive administrative ecosystem within the WCD framework.
