OCT 13:The scenic town of Bandipora came alive as over 3000 runners from across the country participated in the Wular Half Marathon 2.0, a major sporting and environmental event that combined fitness, unity, and ecological awareness. Organized under the inspiring theme “Save Wular, Run with Bordermen,” the marathon was a collaborative initiative led by the Border Security Force (BSF), in association with district authorities and local organizations.

The event aimed to draw attention to the preservation of Wular Lake, one of Asia’s largest freshwater lakes, which holds immense ecological and economic importance for the Kashmir Valley.
