JKBOSE Intensifies Vigilance, Registers 37 Unfair-Means Cases in a Single Day to Ensure Fair Examinations

Jammu, March 8: In a stringent move to uphold the integrity of board examinations, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) registered 37 unfair-means cases against students caught violating exam norms. The action was taken as part of the Board’s ongoing inspection drive to ensure discipline and transparency in the conduct of examinations.

To maintain strict surveillance, JKBOSE had deployed 40 inspection teams across the union territory. These teams actively monitored examination centers to prevent malpractice and ensure adherence to fair examination practices. Additionally, the School Education Department was directed to form vigilance teams to further strengthen the monitoring process.

The Board has also issued a strict advisory to center superintendents, urging them to remain vigilant and discharge their duties responsibly. Officials have been instructed to take zero-tolerance action against any malpractice to uphold the credibility of the examination system.

JKBOSE reaffirmed its commitment to conducting fair and transparent examinations and warned that any attempts to use unfair means would be dealt with strictly as per the rules. The Board has assured that its vigilance drive will continue to ensure a smooth and malpractice-free examination process.
