SEP 30: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha today addressed the valedictory function of ‘Viksit Bharat Ke Rang-Kala Ke Sang’ held in Jammu, where he lauded the energy, creativity, and determination of the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
The event, organised by the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) and the Divisional Administration of Jammu, brought together school and college students to showcase their imagination of a developed India through art and creativity.
In his address, the Lieutenant Governor highlighted the significant role of youth in shaping the nation’s future. “The responsibility of creating a developed India not only on canvas but also in reality lies in the hands of our youth,” he said, adding that the younger generation must become catalysts for change, progress, and innovation.
Commending the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, LG Sinha said that the government is committed to harnessing the potential of the youth and equipping them with resources to achieve excellence. He emphasized that Sewa Parv is instilling a positive mindset among young people, preparing them to take on future challenges with confidence and creativity.
“Our youth are the key to building a prosperous India, preserving cultural heritage, and driving innovation. They must set clear goals, shoulder responsibility, and lead society forward,” he urged, while also calling for vigilance against divisive elements trying to destabilize the nation.
The Lieutenant Governor felicitated students who excelled during the programme and suggested making such initiatives a regular feature. The event witnessed the presence of senior dignitaries including MP Shri Jugal Kishore Sharma, Vice Chancellor Prof. Umesh Rai, senior officials, and a large gathering of enthusiastic youth.
