OCT 01: Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports and Labour & Employment, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, today launched the MY Bharat Mobile Application, marking a major step in technology-driven youth empowerment. Developed by the Digital India Corporation under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, the app is part of the MY Bharat platform, an online hub for youth leadership and social engagement under the Department of Youth Affairs.
Dr. Mandaviya highlighted that the mobile app enhances accessibility, convenience, and real-time engagement, enabling youth to participate anytime and anywhere. The app currently supports Hindi and English, with additional Indian languages planned to ensure inclusivity. Users can access verified opportunities for volunteering, internships, mentorship, experiential learning, and career development, along with recognition through digital badges, certificates, and AI-enabled resume building. It also hosts the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) Quiz 2026, fostering interactive learning and civic participation.
The launch was complemented by the integration of Common Services Centres (CSCs) with the MY Bharat portal. Leveraging over five lakh Village Level Entrepreneurs, the platform will now reach even remote and rural areas, ensuring wider participation and deeper penetration of youth-centric initiatives nationwide. The CSC network will actively promote opportunities available on MY Bharat, including volunteering, experiential learning, and skill-building resources.
Since its inception on October 31, 2023, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the MY Bharat platform has grown into one of India’s largest digital youth ecosystems, with over 1.81 crore youth and 1.2 lakh organisations registered. The mobile application is set to further strengthen youth engagement, leadership development, and nation-building participation across India, aligning with the government’s vision of inclusive and technology-driven growth during Amrit Kaal.
