J&K Assembly Remembers Late Public Servants for Their Dedication and Contribution

OCT 24:The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly began its Autumn Session on a solemn note, with members paying heartfelt tributes to former Governor Satya Pal Malik, as well as former ministers and legislators who passed away in recent months.

The proceedings were presided over by Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather, who led the House in observing a two-minute silence to honour the memory of the departed leaders. The Speaker, along with members across party lines, fondly recalled their remarkable contributions to public life, dedication to the people of Jammu and Kashmir, and their pivotal role in strengthening the democratic and administrative institutions of the region.
